AWESOME 80s PROM Is Back and ONLY $15!

 Peoria Cabaret Theatre is going back in time again on Saturday, May 17th for a show only (no dinner) performance of THE AWESOME 80S PROM! Admission is only $15!

Called “Totally Rad” by the New York Times, THE AWESOME 80S PROM is an interactive show in the style of Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding set at Wanaget High’s Senior Prom . . . in 1989! Dig out your parachute pants and your prom dresses, tight roll your jeans, hairspray up your bangs and watch the 80’s drama unfold. Who knows, you may even get to dance with The Captain of the Football Team. And this time, you don’t have a curfew!

Reserve your seats by calling The Waterhouse at (309)494-9100 or email thewaterhouse@aol.com. The performance takes place in the Broadway Lounge at The Waterhouse’s new location in The Maxam Building on 316 SW Washington St. (Next to the Riverfront Museum.) Lobby doors open at 6:30 pm (you don’t want to miss the cast entrances!) Doors to the PROM open at 7:00pm with a full cash bar available.

“We’re Bicoastal!” Opens The Signature Cabaret Series

  Peoria Cabaret Theatre is very excited to introduce The Signature Cabaret Series to The Broadway Lounge in The NEW Waterhouse at the Maxam Building! 

We open things up on March 21 and 22 with a double bill called “We’re Bicoastal!” Featuring solo shows starring Kelsey Burd (grew up in Washington- now in NYC) and Bryan Krasner (grew up in Peoria- now in LA).  Tickets are $15pp for either show or see them both for $25pp!  Call (309)494-9100 or email thewaterhouse@aol.com to make your reservations. Bryan Krasner performs 3/21 at 9:30pm and 3/22 at 7:30pm

Bryan Krasner recently guest starred on “How I Met Your Mother” on CBS, “Rizzoli and Isles” on TNT, and “Ironside” on NBC. His film credits include leading roles in the Warner Brothers feature “Alien Raiders” and “Scream of the Bikini”. He is a member of the award-winning Sacred Fools Theater Company, performing in “The Magic Bullet Theory”, “Savin’ Up for Saturday Night”, “Neverwhere”,and the critically acclaimed “Beaverquest!” and “Forbidden Zone” which includes original music by Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo. Bryan also appeared in Sam Shepard’s “The God of Hell” at The Geffen Playhouse directed by Jason Alexander and starring Bryan Cranston from “Breaking Bad”.

Kelsey Burd performs 3/21 at 9:30pm and 3/22 at 7:30pm

Join Kelsey Burd for a musical journey through her childhood influences, her adventure in the big city and future aspirations. She will cover it all from Lady Gaga, to classic rock, to The Phantom of the Opera! Featuring Kristen Williams on the keys, Randy Burd on Guitar and a special appearance by Mike Reams!
